Willow Creek's Honker Man MH

Honker is an extremely nice dog.  We started guiding with him at four months old in Texas and he would find, point and retrieve birds with determination and style.  Honker is everything we were looking for in that breeding–a truly versatile dog.  He does as well in the water as any retriever we have trained.  His intensity while training is unparalleled.  At seven months old Honker was successfully completing complex doubles.  He is steady from a very young age.  He keeps the trainer on his toes by nailing every task with ease and then returning as if to say “what’s next?”  Playing Stump Your Dog is often played with Honker and he typically comes out a winner. Honker completed his Master Title in May of 2014.
